Our Story

Burgers & Beer started with a vision of providing the residents of the Imperial Valley with a comfortable and casual location, where they could have a great tasting, high quality burger, accompanied by a refreshing, ice-cold beer, all at an affordable price. Kurt Honold, Owner and Founder of Burgers & Beer, took this vision to the next level and gave the Imperial Valley its first taste of burger bliss in 1985, when he opened the doors to the very first Burgers & Beer restaurant, located in Calexico, CA.
